GOD placed a deep love for animals in my heart from a very young age.

Over the years, I have been incredibly grateful for the opportunity to use that love to serve both pets and their families through grooming, fostering, and rescue work. Every dog who comes through our doors is treated with patience, compassion, and the belief that each life is precious.

My name is Michelle, though most people know me as Elle. I am first and foremost a child of GOD, and I’m thankful for the many roles He has blessed me with — wife, mom, groomer, dog foster, and Director of Happy Tail Rescue.

As a certified AKC S.A.F.E. Groomer and member of the International Groomers Association, it is a privilege to care for the dogs entrusted to us. At Happy Tails, our goal is simple: to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where every pup feels comfortable and cared for.

Each dog has their own personality, their own quirks, and their own unique needs. Getting to know them and helping them feel relaxed and confident during their visits is one of the greatest joys of this work. Over time, many of our clients become like family to us, and we are grateful for the trust their owners place in our care.

Through Happy Tail Rescue, we are also blessed with the opportunity to help dogs who need a second chance. Some arrive needing patience, healing, and time to learn that love still exists. Our goal is simply to give them a safe place and a caring environment until they find the forever home meant for them.

Looking to add a new furry friend to your family? We offer adoption services for cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. Our adoption process ensures that every pet finds their perfect match at The Happy Tail Rescue. 

We offer 1/2 and Full Day daycare services! Daycare is great for dogs who may need socializing or to burn off some extra energy! 

***We also have the quiet room for dogs who just need some extra TLC but prefer a serene environment to relax. 

Our AKC Certified Safe Groomers will make your pet look and feel their best. We offer a range of grooming services including baths, nail trims, haircuts, and more.

Going out of town for an extended period of time? We offer pet boarding services in a safe and comfortable environment. Your pet will receive plenty of love and attention while you're away & have 24 hour care in-home boarding.
